As Harry Potter fans are forming lines in multiplexes around the world, a new trailer for a big screen iteration of another famous British literary character has popped up online–”Sherlock Holmes.” Though it’s hard to tell from a trailer running barely over two minutes, it seems to indicate a somewhat restrained approach from director Guy Ritchie (that is, at least, when compared to the some of his other work) while still showcasing some of his usual cinematic flourishes.
