While speaking to reporters in France, Harrison Ford commented on the development of the fifth big-screen adventure of the legendary archaeologist, reports People.com:
Harrison Ford told France’s Le Figaro that he’s ready to reprise his role as the outspoken professor-turned-hero for the fifth time — if the script is right. “The story for the new ‘Indiana Jones’ is in the process of taking form,” Ford explained. “Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and myself are agreed on what the fifth adventure will concern, and George is actively at work. If the script is good, I’ll be very happy to put the costume on again.”
While there were mixed reviews about Indy’s last on-screen adventure, I personally enjoyed it. Any opportunity to see Indiana Jones back in action sparks my interest, and you can bet I’ll be seeing this, whenever the film is released. I wouldn’t mind if Spielberg and Lucas took more of a “Raiders”-esque approach to the 5th film, though; if it were a little more down-to-Earth and gritty, that’d be great!
