Spielberg Makes White House Guest List

Oscar-winning director invited to White House State Dinner

Sources state that Spielberg’s table-mate was Attorney General Eric Holder, and his children, who were excited about meeting the Oscar-winning director.

The Obamas decided to serve dinner in a huge white tent on the South Lawn, with views of the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial through clear panels. According to the reports from the White House, the event was said to be a celebration of President Obama’s deep respect for India and its people, in hopes of setting the tone for a long-lasting relationship between the nations.
