The theatrical trailer is out for Roman Polanski’s first film since 2005’s Oliver Twist. The Ghost Writer stars Ewan McGregor  as a British writer who takes on the job of writing the memoirs of a former Prime Minister played by Peirce Brosnan. The ghostwriter soon learns that he is in over his head when he uncovers clues to a twisted past of lies and deceit.

The film also stars Kim Cattrall, Eli Wallach, and Olivia Williams. It’s release date is a bit of an ambiguous subject. It opens in February and March in countries like Italy, Germany, and France while the release dates for the US, UK, and Australia seem to be question marks.
