Paramount Home Video has announced more Star Trek Blu Ray releases for a September 22nd release date in the US (it looks like the Region 2 editions won’t be released until November 2nd). These sets include The Next Generation films on both Blu Ray and DVD for $69.99/£64.99 and $39.99/£29.99, The Original Series: Season Two on Blu Ray for $79.99/£69.99.

Also, the US is getting a DVD release of the full Original Motion Picture Collection that was released on Blu Ray and on both formats internationally back in May. The retail price is $59.99. Single editions of The Wrath of Khan, The Voyage Home, The Undiscovered Country, and First Contact will also be released in the US, running at $24.99 for the Blu Rays and $12.99 for the DVDs.

Full details on Star Trek: The Original Series Season Two haven’t been announced, but it will include both the original and enhanced versions, as well interactive Blu Ray features. Perhaps the most interesting feature is that each disc will be Mobile Blu enabled, a feature that will allow you to upload exclusive content to your iPhone, as well as being able to use it as a remote.
