The teaser trailer for Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland” has just been released officially at Comic-Con, following yesterday’s leak.
The film is the latest in a set of about a dozen – ranging from as far back as 1903 – to be based on Lewis Carroll’s novels “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland” and “Through the Looking Glass.”
The all-star ensemble consists both of Burton favorites and some newcomers, including: Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Alan Rickman, Anne Hathaway, Michael Sheen, Stephen Fry, Timothy Spall, Crispin Glover and Christopher Lee. The title role is filled by 19-year-old Mia Wasikowska, who had a small role in 2008′s “Defiance.”
The promising production is slated for release on March 5, 2010.
