A couple of character posters have been released for Walt Disney Pictures’ upcoming adaption of the popular video game series Prince of Persia.
Jake Gyllenhaal stars as Dastan, a Persian prince who teams up with Princess Tamina (Quantum of Solace’s Gemma Arterton) to prevent the villainous Nizam (Sir Ben Kingsley) from controlling the Sands of Time, a gift delivered by the gods that can be used to control time.
Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and directed by Mike Newell (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire), the film opens May 28, 2010.
