Ken meets Barbie in the latest clip from Pixar’s Toy Story 3. Basically, it’s an extension of perhaps one of the funniest scenes from the trailer. The scene consists of Ken (Michael Keaton) guiding our heroes on tour throughout Sunnyside, which is being sold to them like some kind of health spa or retirement center for toys.
For me, a few things stand out; Ned Beatty as Lotso Huggin’ Bear, which I love, and the choice of music, which is another story all together. Sure, Gary Wright’s “Dreamweaver” (used in the exact same way it was in Wayne’s World) might be a bit less over the top, but I prefer the version with Berlin’s “Take My Breath Away.” I just find it more funny, but that’s just nitpicking.
