According to a writer at CineFools, producer Barry Mendel was asked about The Prisoner, which was once said to be director Christopher Nolan’s next project after The Dark Knight. Mendel stated:
Chris Nolan has dropped out of it but we have a first draft by David and Janet Peoples who wrote Twelve Monkeys and David wrote Unforgiven and it’s a good draft and we’re working on the script right now.
Of course, this leaves some to speculate about Nolan’s future projects; one being Inception, and another perhaps being the sequel to The Dark Knight. Naturally, it’s too early to tell, but news like this continues to give the fans a better idea of what may happen.
